EVENT DETAILS:

Since its debut in 2023, The Catch has become one of the Sport Fishing Championship’s most anticipated exhibition events. Over its first three years, the one-day celebrity pro-am brought together current and former All-Stars and Legends of the NFL. For 2026, SFC is introducing an exciting evolution of the event, one that expands both its format and its reach. 

The Catch, presented by Moët Hennessy  showcases SFC’s 13 Angling Clubs and their invited celebrity guests from the world of professional sports and entertainment to compete in the single-day exhibition. The broader mix of personalities expanding beyond the world of football showcases diversity of sportfishing and the individuality of each club.

Several clubs have already confirmed celebrity participants from the worlds of comedy, music, and professional sports, with all pairings to be announced closer to the event. 

In addition to the new format, The Catch will also debut in a new location. The 2026 edition will take place in Key West, Florida on Thursday, April 16, and will serve as a showcase event the day before the Key West Classic, the opening tournament of the 2026 SFC League regular season. The one-day pro-am will be a made for TV event, airing at a later date.

8:00 AM: Shotgun Start Led by The Coast Guard Foundation 
8:00 AM-3:00 PM: Tournament Competition Hours 
12:00-7:00 PM: Fan Fest @ Conch Republic Seafood Company 
3:00 PM: Tournament Lines Out 
3:00 PM-6:00 PM: Live Scales @ Conch Republic Courtyard
7:00 PM-9:00 PM: The Catch Awards Celebration / 2026 Season Kickoff
