East Coast Remix Angling Club

Taking its name from the namesake sailfish dynasty “Remix Sportfishing” led by captain and angler power couple JC Cleare and Sarah Melia, the origin of the Remix name is the definition of the phrase: “Love finds a way.” Primarily known for fishing center console boats in the South Florida tournament scene, JC and Sarah first met competing on a sportfish boat for a private owner. When faced with the choice between fishing with Sarah or continuing to run the sportfish, JC and Sarah bet on their love and the rest is history. The process of acquiring their own boat and forming a team together being the “Remix” that changed everything. The Remix logo is flanked by two harpoons, reminiscent of the original Remix Sportfishing logo, with the trademark black and pink that has been synonymous with the team since its inception. The propeller symbol is composed of four diver knives combined.
