Huk Charleston Billfish Cup

This June, the world of sportfishing turns its attention to one of America’s most iconic coastal cities, Charleston, South Carolina, for the debut of the Huk Charleston Billfish Cup. Renowned for its charm, culture, and cuisine, Charleston will now be home to premier blue marlin and pelagic fishing action in a tournament designed to deliver both prestige and excitement.

At the heart of the event is a $20,000 Winner-Take-All Jackpot Entry awarded to the team with the most blue marlin points, marking a long-awaited return of high-stakes tournament fishing to the Lowcountry.

The tournament will be hosted at the legendary Saltwater Cowboys on Shem Creek, offering live broadcast coverage of the fishing action, giving fans a front-row seat to the energy and atmosphere of a true Lowcountry tournament experience.

Fishing grounds lie 65–75 nautical miles offshore, where Gulf Stream filaments push in over the wide continental shelf. This unique marine environment makes Charleston one of the only places in the world where anglers can target king mackerel while simultaneously chasing blue marlin.

Angling Clubs will be rocking a special look at the Charleston Billfish Cup recognizing World Oceans Day, driving awareness to the Billfish Conservation Project, a new SFC Community Champion for 2025.
