Walker's Cay Open

The sport fishing world decends on the most iconic fishing grounds in North America as SFC debuts at the Walker's Cay Open in 2024. For the first time in history, live tournament fishing will be broadcast from 27° 15.4 N, 078° 23.7 W​​, bringing an international audience into the center of the action at historic Walker's Cay.

Walker's Cay is fringed by its own barrier reef, stunning coral formations and surrounding marine environment make the location one of the only places in the world where anglers can fish for bonefish and thousand pound blue marlin in the same afternoon. 

The rebirth of Walker’s Cay is in full swing thanks to philanthropist and marlin fishing enthusiast Carl Allen. The island is poised to welcome visitors who desire to fish, dive, and explore the beautiful reef, again serving as the northern gateway to the Bahamas. 

Media Day for the Walker's Cay Open is Wednesday, AMay 29, followed by the Captain's Meeting & Opening Night Reception that evening under the stars and iconic Walker's Cay weigh station.

Competition days for the Walker's Cay Open are May 30 - June 1.
