Oak Bluffs Bluewater Classic

Overview

SFC welcome back the Oak Bluffs Bluewater Classic (OBBC), an annual event that blends thrilling fishing adventures with a commitment to community support. What seperates this event from all the rest is that boats can fish from any port in the northeast! Held at Oak Bluffs Marina, The Flying Bridge Restaurant, Summercamp Hotel, and MacDougall's Marina in Falmouth, OBBC raises funds for the MV Boys & Girls Club.

This prestigious tournament is different than the rest on our cicut featuring overnight fishing, allowing entrants to fish two straight days before returning to the dock. Competing boats are able to fish 2 out of 4 fishing days, with fishing days declared ahead of time on the day before departure.

As the third stop on  SFC's Atlantic Division, the Oak Bluffs Bluewater Classic (OBBC) is a pivotal event where boats begin their ascent up the leaderboard, aiming for a coveted spot in the championship playoffs. With each catch, teams edge closer to securing their spot among in the elite 12 contenders vying for the Zane Grey Championship Playoff.

Join us at OBBC as we embark on this exciting journey towards the SFC championship playoffs, celebrating the spirit of competition and the thrill of sport fishing.
