The top offshore boats from across the Gulf are scheduled to compete, including last year's top performers - Devotion and C-Student, along with perennial powerhouses Breathe Easy and the All In out of Gulf Shores, Alabama. More than 40 boats in all are expected to participate. After the devastating hurricane season felt by the entire Louisiana coastline, the Venice and Grand Isle communities have joined forces to ensure that this year's edition is bigger and better for boats, anglers and billfishing fans.

Opening ceremonies including the blessing of the fleet begin Thursday April 28 at 10am CT time at the Hurricane Hole Marina in Grand Isle.
