Third Coast Renegades Sign 'Magnifico' Ahead of Upcoming 2026 SFC Season
The boat and team, headed by Renegades AC President Garrett Frazier, will look to defend the club’s Gulf Division crown. The Renegades were primarily represented by Southern Charm/All-In for 2025.
(MAGDALENA BAY, MEXICO: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 19, 2025): Third Coast Renegades, a professional angling club competing in Sport Fishing Championship (SFC), have officially signed the vessel Magnifico ahead of the 2026 SFC season. The signing took place on December 18 aboard Magnifico in Magdalena Bay, Mexico. The event formally added the 60’ Spencer Sportfisher to the Renegades program as the team continues to build on recent competitive success within the SFC series.
Magnifico will serve as the team’s primary offshore tournament platform. The vessel brings a proven competitive history, including a third-place finish at the Bisbee’s East Cape, a Pacific Ocean Grand Slam World Record with five grand slams, and a second-place finish at the Bisbee’s Black and Blue, earning a top check.
During the 2025 season, Third Coast Renegades competed in seven SFC tournaments, recording four first-place finishes, two second-place finishes, and one third-place finish. The team totaled 19,800 points in the Gulf Division, secured the title of SFC Gulf Division Champions, and finished second overall in the Zane Grey Championship Playoffs with 4,400 points.
The signing of Magnifico represents a strategic step forward for Third Coast Renegades as the team continues to invest in proven platforms and long-term competitive growth. Coming off a championship season in the SFC Gulf Division, the Renegades view this partnership as a key piece in maintaining consistency, performance, and readiness as they prepare for the next phase of competition.
“I’m excited to unite these two teams into a true force for the 2026 SFC season. After two years competing internationally, it’s an honor to bring Magnifico back to our home waters of the Gulf of America and compete in the SFC Gulf division,” said Garrett Frazier, Third Coast Renegades Team President and owner of Magnifico.
