BREAKING: CAPE COD INVITATIONAL SHORTENED TO 2-DAY TOURNAMENT DUE TO WEATHER

The winner will be decided at the conclusion of Saturday's competition, with lines out tomorrow at 5:00 PM

At 12:00 PM ET, SFC Officials announced that day three of the Cape Cod Invitational, presented by Comparion, has been canceled. The decision was made due to the National Weather Service issuing a Small Craft Advisory for the waters around Cape Cod. By rule, the tournament standings from the conclusion of Day 2 will become the final standings.

The Lines In and Lines Out times do not change for what is now Championship Saturday, with the fishing hours remaining between 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. SFC’s live coverage on YouTube and ESPN+ will also not change tomorrow, with Social Hour on YouTube beginning at 2:00 PM, and ESPN+ broadcast from 3:00-5:00 PM.

This is the second consecutive Atlantic Division tournament to be shortened due to weather. SFC’s Carrier Cup in late May saw a small-craft advisory issued in the evening hours on Saturday, affecting the coastal waters around Charleston, South Carolina. The New Jersey Sea Birds were in the lead at the conclusion of day two and were declared the winners, taking over the lead the Atlantic Division season standings.
