Breaking: Mississippi Blues AC Sign Home Made for 2026 Season

'Home Made' competed in SFC last year, winning the Gulfport Mississippi Open for Third Coast Renegades Angling Club

The Mississippi Blues Angling Club has officially signed a new competitive team for the 2026 Sport Fishing Championship season, welcoming Home Made to full-time Gulf Division competition.

Based out of Orange Beach, Alabama, Home Made is a 64’ Winter Custom run by owner and angler Adam Davidson and Captain Adam McGugin. Home Made competed in one SFC event last year, the Gulfport Mississippi Open, where they represented Third Coast Renegades Angling Club. They won the tournament with three blue marlin released and one white marlin released, for a total of 1,450 points.

The signing marks a new chapter for the Mississippi Blues Angling Club following the departure of Rising Sons, which represented the club during the 2025 season. Rising Sons recently announced a multi-year deal with Louisiana Canyons Angling Club.

With a championship-caliber result already on their SFC résumé, Home Made enters the upcoming season with strong momentum and high expectations, as does the entire Mississippi Blues organization.

Angling Club president and general manager Preston Lyon released this statement about the signing:

“We’re excited to welcome Home Made to the Mississippi Blues Angling Club for the 2026 season. Adam Davidson, Captain Adam McGugin, and their team made a strong statement at the Gulfport Mississippi Open last year, winning their first and only SFC appearance to date in tough conditions. We’re excited to have them as part of the Blues and look forward to a great season ahead.”

The Blues’ signing leaves at least one Roster Move remaining for the Gulf Division Angling Clubs, with West Florida Black Flags still negotiating for 2026.

As previously reported, there look to be three parties vying for that final spot, with the incumbents Miss Maysen pushing to either update their boat or find a new boat to compete. The second player is a re-vamped Southern Charm/All-In that has seen 2025 Angler of the Year Gregg Trenor searching for a new captain and mates to run his 62’ Viking. The final option would be the long-awaited return of two-time SFC Champion Captain Justin Drummond and Quantified.

Be sure to follow along as there is more to come on the off-season Roster Moves shaking up the SFC landscape.
