Overview

The Montauk Canyon Challenge (MCC) is is joing Sport Fishing Championship's 2024 circuit as the ninth stop overall. As part of the three-stop Northeast Atlantic swing, the MCC brings its unique blend of competition and camaraderie to this prestigious series.

Originally established in 2011, the MCC has grown into a premier event aimed at restoring Montauk as the Northeast Premier Offshore Fishing Destination. Known for its marlin fishing and tuna fisheries, the MCC attracts anglers from far and wide to compete for record prize money. With over 60 boats expected to participate, the MCC offers a range of exclusive amenities, including Captain's buckets, commemorative shirts, and an exquisite awards dinner hosted on the great lawn at the Montauk Yacht Club.

As it joins the SFC televised series, the MCC offers anglers the opportunity to showcase their skills to a national audience, further cementing its reputation as a must-attend event for fishing enthusiasts in the northeast!

Competition days for the Montauk Canyon Challenge are July 13 - July 20.
